Snow - a sourdough starter

Dried flakes, passed hand to hand. Here is how to wake them up.

Make a new recipe card

A ready-made prompt for Copilot, or any other assistant, that produces a new recipe written in the same style and format as the rest of these pages.

How to use it

  1. Change the three lines at the top - what you want to make, whether it uses active starter or discard, and anything else that matters.
  2. Press Copy.
  3. Paste it into Copilot and send.

Everything below the top three lines is the house style, and is worth leaving alone unless you want to change how all the pages read.

What you get back

A finished HTML file in the same visual style as every other recipe here, plus the filename and the one-line snippet to add it to the recipes index. Save the file into the recipes/ folder, paste the snippet into recipes/index.html, commit, and it is live.

Check it before you trust it

An assistant will confidently invent a hydration, a bake time or a proofing window that is simply wrong. Before you publish anything, sanity-check the numbers against a recipe you already trust, and ideally bake it once. The whole point of these pages is that someone unfamiliar with sourdough can follow them and get bread.
